EVEN MORE WAYS TO SHOP, WIN AND PLAY IN WEEK SIX OF DUBAI SHOPPING FESTIVAL
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 14 January 2022: Week six of the 27th edition of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), the world’s longest running retail festival, brings even more ways for citizens, residents and visitors of Dubai to shop, win and play – all day, everyday.
From 17 to 23 January festival goers can expect ways to win big with the Dubai Shopping Mall Group Raffle, the Dubai Duty Free Raffle, SHARE Millionaire and more. Music lovers can also look forward to mega star performances with The Black Eyed Peas at Expo’s Infinite Nights.
And with the DSF sale season well underway, shopaholics can look forward to the Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group Weekend Sale plus add even more excitement to their bargain hunting adventures with Augmented Reality experiences across Dubai. All they need to do is simply point their cameras at QR codes on DSF shopping bags across every store in the city, to unlock the doors to a new world of excitement.
There is also lots of fun for the little ones with Nickelodean Rocks and Madagascar’s “Stars of the Jungle” shows. While the whole family can head down to The Hub Market and Al Seef Market for great food, entertainment and vibes. And if that isn’t enough, the whole city can continue to enjoy the ongoing DSF Drone Shows at Bluewaters and The Beach Opposite JBR, alongside breathtaking DSF fireworks brought by the Al Zarooni Group – with a special treat of fireworks integrated with the DSF Drone Shows until the 23 January. Stand-up comedy favourites Jack Dee and Al Hezb El Comedy, with Comedy Bel Masry Vol.2, are also back at The Dubai Opera and Theatre – Mall of the Emirates. All this and more with unmissable highlights for the penultimate week of DSF.
DSF Fireworks and Drones shows
Head to Bluewaters and The Beach, opposite JBR for a last chance to catch one of the three themed DSF drone shows which tell the story of the UAE’s past, present and future, set to much-loved soundtracks. Festival goers are in for a very special treat as the drone shows will be accompanied by DSF’s mesmerising fireworks until January 23, brought by the Al Zarooni Group.

DSF Al Seef Market – Art at Play
This year’s DSF Market at Al Seef is designed for the whole family and features fun activities, workshops and live entertainment. Week six’s ‘String and Play’ installation brings fun for the little ones to use safe tools and raw materials to work with, as they foster their independence, hone their fine motor skills, hand/eye coordination and attention spans. With String and Play, young learners can practice making triangles and squares, while older children will have a blast making beautiful parabolic curves and other designs. Until January 19 , cultural buffs also have one last chance to immerse themselves in all things Coffee and Dates as both themed weeks draw to a close.

Madagascar’s Stars of the Jungle
Join Madagasca’s Alex, Marty, Gloria, Melman, The penguins and of course King Julien at Mirdif City Centre, for the ultimate jungle adventure! Sing along with Alex the lion as he becomes a Jungle Star! Then stick around for the chance to meet the characters and enjoy all the exciting activities post show.

The Hub Food Festival
Head to Majlis Al Khawaneej this DSF for The Hub Food Festival, a one-stop destination for family, friends and visitors of all ages to grab some delicious bites from local eateries, while chilling out to the sounds of groovy tunes spun by local DJs. Running for a second week, The Hub is a unique modern outdoor concept that offers a great way to enjoy Dubai’s beautiful winter weather with offerings from Spicy Station, Churros Cone Cafe, Let’s Sea, Chef Um Rashed, Octosis, Senor Gonzales, House of Slaw and many more.

The Black Eyed Peas at Expo 2020 Dubai
Expo 2020 is back with its Infinite Night series and will be bringing world famous band The Black Eyed Peas to the Al Wasl Stage on January 25 to celebrate the end of the first month of the new year. The event will also be live streamed to millions of fans around the world who can enjoy the special experience on Virtual ExpoDubai, Expo TV on YouTube, Expo 2020’s Facebook page and Oculus VR.

Nickelodeon Rocks
Sing and dance along with Dora the Explorer and her buddy Boots, Paw Patrol’s Marshall and Chase, and the fabulous Shimmer and Shine stars as they rock the stage with the brand new “ALL STARS” musical show at Dubai Festival City Mall, alongside a whole host of other activities.

Al Misk x DSF
As part of Ladies Night Market Series, DSF has partnered with the Al Misk Exhibition to showcase creations and products of more than 25 homegrown and regional brands. Visitors can shop for one-of-a-kind clothing from Abayas to travel wear, and gowns to bags and handicrafts, while also sampling some delicious local culinary creations.
