Pinktober in Full Bloom.. An Afternoon of Stories and Strength

Address Beach Resort and Lyda Beauty came together on 10 October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Dubai, UAE, October 2025

In an evening filled with unity and strength, Address Beach Resort, part of Emaar Hospitality Group, hosted a heartfelt Pinktober gathering that brought together inspiring voices in celebration of resilience, hope, and community.

The event unfolded at Farina Terrace, where guests gathered against the tranquil backdrop of the Arabian Gulf and the iconic Ain Dubai. The night stood as a gentle reminder of the power of solidarity and the importance of keeping conversations around breast cancer awareness alive.

The gathering brought together an inspiring lineup of voices, three-time stage 4 cancer survivor and women’s health advocate Yasmin Yousri, television personality Mais Mohammed, joined by survivors, advocates, and lifestyle figures who continue to champion awareness in their own ways. With the support of The Giving Movement, the afternoon blended resilience, storytelling, and wellness into an intimate space of awareness and connection.

Yasmin Yousri opened her heart to the audience, speaking not only of survival but of what comes after. She reflected on the scars, the rediscovery of joy, and the courage it takes to embrace life again: “Surviving was my fight, but healing became my art, and through it, I found the courage to become who I was meant to be.”

In collaboration with Lyda Beauty, this powerful event honored Breast Cancer Awareness, a cause deeply personal to Lyda Fischer, the brand’s founder. Having witnessed loved ones face this battle, Lyda shared, “As a brand, and personally, I believe it’s important to use our voice and platform to support real issues that impact people’s lives. This event is a reminder that beauty also means empathy, understanding, and community.” She reminded us that those affected are not alone, and that speaking up is a sign of strength, not weakness. To us, they are warriors, and together, we rise by raising awareness and standing united.

Additionally, Khairunisa, Head Designer of The Giving Movement, extented lovely goodie bags to the guests and shared a few words, emphasizing how the brand’s mission is rooted in giving back to the community and supporting causes that matter.

As the final conversations drew to a close, guests carried with them more than awareness. They left with stories of courage, healing, and the reminder that strength is always stronger when shared.
