BenQ Middle East Launches ScreenBar® Series
Introducing ScreenBar® Halo 2 and ScreenBar® Pro in Black & Silver
Dubai, United Arab Emirates — December 16, 2025 — BenQ Middle East, the pioneer of monitor lighting solutions, today announced the official launch of its ScreenBar® Series in Dubai, featuring the flagship ScreenBar® Halo 2 alongside the ScreenBar® Pro Black & Silver editions. The event, themed Complete Illumination. Maximum Comfort., highlights BenQ’s commitment to delivering advanced workspace lighting solutions tailored for creators, gamers, and professionals across the region.
Developed over four years, the ScreenBar® Halo 2 redefines eye comfort with a dual-light design that provides both front and rear illumination. Its triple-curvature backlight design expands coverage by 423%, reducing contrast between the monitor and surroundings to ease visual fatigue. The front light incorporates BenQ’s ASYM-Light™ technology, an asymmetrical optical design with an 18-degree cut-off angle that eliminates screen glare and prevents direct light from reaching the eyes.
Backed by research conducted in collaboration with National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, the ScreenBar® Halo 2 ensures balanced ambient lighting with an ANSI-standard luminance ratio of no more than 3:1 between the screen and its surroundings.

The ScreenBar® Pro Black & Silver builds on BenQ’s design legacy with a gravity-based zinc-alloy clamp, supporting a wide variety of monitors—from ultra-thin to curved—without causing damage. Both products feature smart functions such as auto-dimming, auto on/off, and memory settings for personalized use.
Drawing from insights highlighted during the Middle East launch, the ScreenBar® Halo 2 also emphasizes smarter lighting, wider coverage, and refined design, making it a versatile solution for modern workspaces The design has been co-developed with MINIMAL Design, led by former Nike Global Creative Director Scott Wilson. The resulting metallic finish and minimalist profile are intended to blend into premium home offices and studio setups, complementing BenQ’s PD Designer, EX MOBIUZ, GW Eye Care and MA Macbook monitor lines.

The anti-fingerprint coated wireless control dial lets users smoothly adjust brightness (0–100 per cent) and colour temperature (2700K–6500K), perfect for colour grading, content creation, or late-night work.”
