THE CHEEKY CAMEL LAUNCHES SEARCH FOR YOUNG TALENTED PERFORMERS AND ARTISTS FOR SATURDAY NIGHTS AND EXHIBITIONS

Dubai, UAE, January 26: JLT’s newest hotspot is launching a campaign to support local artists ranging from musicians to painters to photographers. The Cheeky Camel, found in the voco Bonnington, is a music and art-inspired bar and terrace that launched at the end of 2021 welcoming hundreds of people every night of the week.

Earlier this month they began their campaign to find local up and coming talent right here in Dubai, offering an incredible opportunity for those looking for a break to perform in front of a Saturday night crowd, with the first act being showcased this Saturday from 6pm.

The first act features Dubai-based signers Olivia Deane and Alice Kübe on Saturday night followed by DJ Danos Parpotta to continue the party. The female vocalists have being growing in popularity on social media and are looking to take their act to the next level.

“The Cheeky Camel is really different as it feels very much like it is made in Dubai with the artworks and overall feel of the place.” Olivia said, “The terrace we’ll be playing on is amazing, you could be in any really cool city around the world with incredible views of the Dubai skyline.

“We can’t wait to perform and love the fact the venue is giving artists like us support and a chance to be in the spotlight.”

Lisa Richards from The Cheeky Camel talent team added: “The Cheeky Camel is all about what Dubai stands for – creativity, energy and being part of a vibrant and positive community. We are delighted to be supporting local talent and will kick that off with live music on the rooftop terrace this Saturday and with plenty more to come.

“Young, talented people who need a platform can get in touch and we will do everything we can to support them.”

They will also be using the venue to exhibit paintings, photography and poems produced by promising Dubai-based artists.
