Complete with pretzels, brats and hops, Wavehouse’s family-friendly Oktoberfest is the only place to celebrate all things Bavarian
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – It’s that time of year again to get out the dirndls and lederhosen and head to Wavehouse for the best Oktoberfest celebration in the city from Friday, 30th September until Sunday, 9th October.
Oktoberfest at Wavehouse is a gastronomical adventure with Bavarian-inspired dishes starting from AED 45 as well as pop-up draught stations featuring the best of the best German beer. Guests can enjoy the terrace decorated in typical Oktoberfest fashion while listening to the live house band on weekdays and a German Oompah band on Fridays to Sundays from 8:00 pm. With stein holding competitions, face painting and stilt walkers, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Highlights on the food menu include homemade brezen (pretzels), bratwurst with sauerkraut and mustard, roast pork with roasted potatoes, braised red cabbage, honey glazed carrots and pork gravy, as well as a Bavarian meat and cheese board spread. Those with a sweet tooth can tuck into a classic apple strudel or a double German chocolate cake.
