In Conjunction with Hosting Educational Masterclass on Cancerous Chemicals in Makeup and its Clean Beauty Alternatives

Liht Organics will hold a makeup masterclass at April Beauty Store in Dubai Mall on the 15th of October to raise awareness of the consumption of chemical makeup and how it can be linked to different forms of cancer.

The masterclass will delve into the meaning of clean beauty, featuring the main ingredients of the brand’s products and how they are even safe enough to eat! Comparatively the masterclass seeks to educate the public on the chemicals present in regular daily care products and the harmful effects that they each have on the environment and on our health, as well as the health of our loved ones.
The masterclass event will be a free educational session open to the public, and for those attending the masterclass, Zulekha Hospital is offering a free screening opportunity that will cover a free breast cancer screening and a consultation with either a general surgeon or oncologist, valid for up to two months. The partnership is not only to spread awareness of breast cancer but also to normalize preventative check-ups. Mammography can detect tumours before they can be felt, emphasizing the importance of screening for early detection. The screening process can also help educate women on familiarizing themselves with their bodies and when to report any recent differences.
