Taste of Italy at Luigia – A Gastronomic Journey Around Italy

On February 28^th indulge in a set menu full of authentic recipes from the Emilia Romagna region, land of Parmigiano Reggiano, egg pasta, and Lambrusco.

In the next couple of months, Luigia will take its patrons on a gastronomic journey to experience the culinary and wine heritage of the Italian regions. Discover unique recipes handed down from generation to generation paired with local wines. Starting from the northern regions including Piedmont, Lombardy, and Emilia Romagna – land of cheese, brasato, and risotto – to the southern regions including Campania, Apulia and Sardinia – land of Mediterranean flavours like pizza, orecchiette and seadas. The choices are endless considering the variety of ingredients and recipes that Italy has to offer.

On Tuesday February 28th, discover the region of Emilia Romagna. Located in northern Italy, it is renowned for its medieval cities including Bologna, Modena and Ravenna and for their culinary heritage. Indulge in a set menu which includes delicious appetizers such as “gnocco fritto” served with “stracchino” cheese, and with our – Gambero Rosso awarded pizza – “Romagnola”. Continue with “Tortellini Modenesi” in parmesan cream and with the typical pasta from Emilian cuisine, the “Gramigna” served with beef sausage ragout, and Parmigiano Reggiano DOP. As a main course, try our “Cotoletta alla Bolognese” with stick potatoes, followed by the famous “torta di ricotta”. All the dishes will be accompanied by a selection of wines from Emilia Romagna.

Emilia Romagna set menu will be available on Tuesday 28th February from 5:30 pm to 11 pm AED 249
