With a rich background spanning international cuisines and a proven track record of excellence, Chef Diaz brings his expertise to elevate the dining experience to new heights.

Originally from Guatemala, Chef Diaz is a seasoned professional with a passion for innovation and a commitment to epicurean distinction. Armed with a Professional Title from INTECAP and a High School diploma in computational science from Laplace School, Diaz combines technical expertise with creative flair in the kitchen.

As an Executive Sous Chef at Sheraton MOE, he will lead kitchen operations with finesse, setting and maintaining gastronomic standards while exceeding guest expectations. His leadership and management skills will be instrumental in driving the success of the hotel’s culinary endeavors.

Prior to joining Sheraton MOE, Chef Diaz served as Chef di Cuisine at the Five Hotel, Dubai JVC, where he spearheaded culinary offerings at Soul Street Restaurant and Social Pool. His commitment to achieving company targets and delivering unparalleled guest experiences earned him accolades and recognition within the industry. With experience in renowned brands including executive chef roles at esteemed establishments such as Hotel Vista Quince in Guatemala City and Mayan Princess All-Inclusive Hotel in Roatán, Honduras, chef brings a wealth of experience and creativity to his new role. His diverse background, ranging from Caribbean cuisine to Nuevo Latino cuisine, reflects his adaptability and proficiency in crafting a wide array of culinary delights.
